11th Match – Islamabad United v Quetta Gladiators
Quetta Gladiators Defeated Islamabad United in the 11th Match of Pakistan Super League by seven wickets in Sharjah on Thursday to reach to the top of the inaugural Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Quetta Gladiators won the toss and choose to bowl first. Australian Allrounder Shane Watson scored 40 to gave Islamabad a good start, but no other player was able to score above 18 runs. Imran Khalid was the second highest scorer making 18 runs off 18 balls. Islamabad scored 117 in 19.1 overs with all the 10 wickets. Grant Elliot picked three wickets for 25 runs. Zulfiqar Babr and Aizaz Cheema chipped in taking two wickets each. Quetta had losing Luke Wright and Kevin Pietersen in just the second over with the total score 14, But Ahmed Shehzad, 41, and Sarfraz Ahmed, 51, helped Quetta to reached the target in just 16.1 overs for the loss of three wickets.
